Tourist attractions in the city of Semarang


Semarang is the capital of Central Java and in the city is also a lot of heritage and attractions that are worth to visit, in this town there are some places that we can visit.




1.lawang Sewu




Lawang Sewu, or also a thousand doors is a historic building in Indonesia in Semarang, Central Java. This building is the first office Spoorweg Nederlands-Indische Maatschappij
was built in 1904 and was completed in 1907. The people in Semarang call mace sewu because the place has a door that very much. This building has a few windows high and wide so called door (lawang)
Ancient and magnificent building has two floors, and the building is now in use as an office of PT. Besides Indonesia train once used as the Office of National Infrastructures Regional Military Command (Kodam IV / Diponegoro) and the Regional Office (Regional Office) Ministry of Transportation Central Java.

2.Masjid Agung Jawa Tengah


Great Mosque of Central Java which has an area of over 7,500 square meters is able to accommodate about 16,000 worshipers. In addition to the main building of the mosque, in the Great Mosque of Central Java, there are also many other facilities such as the ceremony hall, auditorium, library, lodging, museum of Islamic culture, cafes, souvenir shops, train rabbits, children's playground.


3.Air Terjun Kali Pancur



Air terjun kali pancur is one of the most famous natural attractions in Semarang.Air terjun located in the village Nogosaren, Semarang, this waterfall has a height of about 150 meters. and decorated with rocks and green trees, has several caves. to this place of my suggestion right to adequate rest and physically strong because it will pass about 900 stairs tiring to be able to enjoy the beauty of air terjun Kali Pancur.



4.Pagoda Watugong



Watugong Buddhagaya pagoda is a pagoda with a height of over 45 meters and is the tallest pagoda in Indonesia.pagoda is located in the city of Semarang and Independence Pioneer Road is a place of Buddhist worship. a fitting place to perkunjung here because of its unique shape and many residents from outside semarang that to this place
